My visit to the cabin was just like seeing an old friend. We greeted each other with a mental “well look at you”. The trip was quick and predominantly work related. The disconnect from grid was comforting but the silence of not having my family was deafening. Believe me, they were only missing in physical presence.
Diente de Oso is undergoing several minor adjustments but its character and backbone will remain unchanged. Each future visit may find us a bit older but with an infinitely stronger heart. And just like old friends, we will pick up where we left off.
The season is changing, and the surroundings are indescribable. It’s always hard to leave but I know we will find our way back.
